Review on 💡 Lithonia Lighting OMS 2000 PR2 120 DDB M4 Dark Bronze 2 Head Flood Light with Single Direction Motion Sensor, Increased Wattage by Matt Conner

I have three of these M6 sensors on my property and they are by far the least sensitive and least stable motion sensors I've ever bought. No matter what you do, like pointing/redirecting at them or otherwise trying to convince them they're working properly, they won't turn on reliably until you're literally right in front of them - 10 to 15 feet away. There is a small red LED inside the detector to indicate that it has detected motion and about 50% of the time it will pick up motion 20-30 feet away and turn on the tiny red LED. but does not turn on the light despite the maximum sensitivity setting! I've tried everything with these detectors - realigned them, changed sensitivity, tried using the center of the detector instead of the edges (and vice versa) and even turned it upside down - no bone; Nothing worked. The sensitivity is even worse when it's warm outside - sometimes it won't even trigger until you enter the door it's next to. Very frustrating as I now have to buy 3 more and fit a completely different brand as a replacement (exactly what I've always wanted, 3 tiers up!). I kinda doubt I'll be able to return them, but you can bet I'll try. $75 down the drain.
