As I said, when you use a parting tool, the thing stops under load. I found I had to be careful how much pressure I put on him. I bought this because I have a power hub (which you have to buy separately for this tool to work) and I needed something portable to cut through the chain link fence in my backyard. It was cheaper than buying a large and powerful angle grinder. If you don't need to cut anything extra thick and don't use angle grinders regularly then this is a good buy. That was my case, it worked. I also found several uses for the grinding wheel that worked very well. (I sharpened the ax and sharpened the sharp edge of the old fire.)
