The reviewer below is right about short and brittle lamp wires but if you use the right stripping tools there shouldn't be a problem. I use ones that hold the wire and make stripes on it with a single press of the tool. If you work with wire a lot then you probably already have a good pair like me. The item looks great with the aluminum plate and red cup covers. I bought them for my son's truck so I am sure he will pass them. So far I'm happy with them, but as they get older I'll have to update them in the future.
