Top removed at night so naturally looks brighter due to aquarium light. I couldn't wait for the evening to see the photos afterwards! So it was just taken. Literally 15 minutes after delivery. Despite the different lighting, you can definitely see the changes made to the back panel in about 15 minutes after receipt! We bought a large one for our 20 gallon tank (less cleaning since it's a lazy household!). The non-slip handle is a bit uncomfortable for those with sensitive skin (note my husband will be finishing this project!) but this can be remedied by squeezing a washcloth between your hand and the handle! I love this product and so does my cat.
