Bestgle Aquarium Magnetic Scrubber Cleaning Review

I've always used magnetic float cleaners but accidentally bought a small one for my 125 gallon aquarium. Lots of swipes to clear the area. Bought this and was pleasantly surprised that it cleans great and the comfort of the handle was an added surprise! We are glad we bought it!

I received this item before shipping. That was great. But it doesn't seem to have that strong magnetism. When I go to the other side of the aquarium I lose the inside cleaner and sometimes several minutes to move around the outside in several places to get the inside back!

Works great but requires training. With light to medium-heavy algae, it cleans excellently when used for maintenance about every two weeks. If the algae has had time to really grow and take root, that's not great. That's right, if you have to use a scraper, you can't keep up with tank maintenance.

I like to use it for my little glass cube aquarium on my desk. It helps keep the glass clean between major water changes and cleaning, and is easy to use. Doesn't seem to bother my Betta, hasn't damaged the sides of my tank and is also small enough to sit in the corner of a small tank out of sight when not being cleaned.

Essentially two very strong magnets, one attached to a floating stone with velcro on one side (internal cleaning) and the other attached to a handle with felt on one side (external cleaning part) . It can actually go around corners without having to move it manually. The magnets are so strong and attract each other. highlighted.

I originally gave this review a 5 star rating but I'm revising my rating and sadly lowering it to 1. It didn't even remove the minimal amount of scale on my aquarium glass. Now it only serves as a makeshift "shield" to prevent fish from getting too close to the filter and being swept away by the current.

Got a large size of this for my 65 gallon reef tank (glass). It definitely floats and is very easy to hold. This is probably due to the fact that the magnet is not very large and therefore strong. I've found that I have to clean the same spot multiple times with this brand compared to others I've tried. It just doesn't seem to be holding onto the glass as tightly as it should. Top removed at night so naturally looks brighter due to aquarium light. I couldn't wait for the evening to see the photos afterwards! So it was just taken. Literally 15 minutes after delivery. Despite the different lighting, you can definitely see the changes made to the back panel in about 15 minutes after receipt!
