They do a great job of curling your hair without heat if you have time to air dry completely. They take a bit of getting used to once you use them, but once you get the hang of things will go faster. Put them on when your hair is wet! I've seen reviews where people apply it to dry hair and then complain that it doesn't frizz. Also, I've seen people say you can sleep with them. I don't recommend this, it's like using pine cones as a pillow! My curls last 2 days with no hair products, just wet hair + curlers + removal after hair is completely dry.
