Excellent so far; did not test the range; some inconveniences

Very well built and packaged, bluetooth phone connection is fine, app is great - very professional not like a cheap app. The charger is great. I'm very glad I bought it, although I've only tested it within 500 feet so far. However, there are a couple of inconveniences I'd like to fix: * Very important: the controller is completely black in a symmetrical 2-button layout, and at dusk it's difficult to tell which of the buttons is which. There are protrusions on the backlight button but I can't feel them. Pressing the wrong button is a problem because it sets off an alarm on the dog lock and I only want to do it when it's really necessary. Otherwise the dog will get confused. *Very important: You must not connect to >1 phone until you log out of the other phone. Very inconvenient as my wife and I take turns walking the dog. It is possible to "share" the location with another email address, but it is "view only" - the other phone cannot control the device. So we need to be able to use the same login on multiple phones without logging out of any of them. It's ok if we have to turn the bluetooth on/off manually.* Highly desirable: A button to turn on the dog lock without having to put it on the charger would be great. The power saving mode is good, but not perfect. But it should only be an "on" button and not an off, lest it accidentally turn off. It was possible to turn off the device through the application. The controller block can already be toggled on/off with either knob, which is great. Highly recommended so far.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Volume
