I was pleasantly surprised by the feel of the device, it's a nice weight. Both the top and bottom parts (the cover lifts off and is a separate piece) have some sort of metal that gives the scale a nice feel. I wasn't thrilled that the test weight (100g) actually weighed between 100.13 and 100.16 depending on where it was on the scale, but all the nickels I tested, which were supposed to be 5g each, weighed somewhere between 4.96 and 5.06, so I believe the weight itself is gone. All in all, if you're looking for low stakes, a low budget, and a compact size, this might be for you
