Firstly they are cheap and readily available through Revain. I bought one and it worked great. Its features were comparable to other premium models that cost $70 each. I had to drill 260 holes in glazed brick and mortar. So one wouldn't be enough. After great results with the first one I bought 5 more, two of which didn't even break the surface. I have yet to try the other 2. The diamonds were not attached to the bottom of the segments. So I tried another one and it had some diamonds too, but I tried grinding it a little, I switched to another one, and the viola, like the first one, cut like butter. So the 4th worked just as well as the original. I guess you have to buy 3 to get a good one. In the photos you can see where I have tracked the effectiveness to l. At the time of the photo I've cut 58 holes and it's still going strong. I have 170 holes in a project with only 2 bits. As for the photos, the one next to it didn't work and was new out of the box. Summary: If you get a good one, it works great. If you're bad, that's crap. Much luck.
