Review on Leda Art Supply Mixed-Media Pad 2 Pack (48 Pages), Ideal for Watercolor, Acrylic or Oil Painting, Marker and Ink Art, Italian Art Paper, A3 Size 11.5 x 16.5 by Kelly Caballes

I'm relatively new to watercolor painting and bought these discs to paint with! Keep in mind that you actually get 12 pages per notebook, so 24 in total. Calling it 48 pages is only okay if you think of it as a book, as it only adds 48 pages if you use both pages (I use both pages , for the record). The paper weighs 140 pounds. This particular paper size is great for larger jobs or cutting into smaller pieces (or simply creating multiple smaller jobs on one page). I tested it with a simple watercolor painting. It holds the color perfectly, has a very nice texture and the right thickness. I also tested ink and fill using a combination of permanent markers and watercolors as this is a mixed media notebook after all. He was very good with ink and watercolor. While I'm not an expert on paper quality, I can tell you that these sheets are much nicer than the typical watercolor substrates I've used.
