Review on Addi Click Hook, 3.5mm, Gold by Doris Tran

I am very disappointed with these crochet hooks. I've been a long time fan of Addi products but this one literally leaves a lot to be desired. I mean, this set doesn't even include the stoppers or cords needed to use it properly. Yes it is clearly stated in the description but there is a big suggestion from Addi's side that those who will be using this kit already have cord on hand, presumably from addi click knitting needles. Not everyone who knits also crochets and vice versa. Providing your own hooks should be an option, but I think there should be a full set for those who don't already have cords and stops. Not to mention that there's no one-size-fits-all solution to storing the components together, as you'll need to purchase three separate items. Also, there is a problem with the two hooks being made of resin and not metal. what happened to it I love metal hooks and that's why I originally invested in this set, but the two largest hooks are the material I least want to work with. I have standard, non-Tunisian hooks in larger sizes, they are metal. Couldn't the respected Addi brand also use metal for continuity? To add insult to injury, I haven't been able to get hooks to stay attached to cables in my entire life. I kept checking to make sure they were assembled correctly, but they were taken down 3 times on the same day for the same project. I suspect it might be something in the way I maneuver my wrist while crocheting that makes the click system almost impossible for me. All of these issues, although some of them are purely personal preferences, made me want to return them. Instead, I invested in this really expensive set that rhymes with screams. Despite being made of wood they are incredibly smooth, all are made from the same material, come in more sizes, include ALL THE COMPONENTS needed to fully utilize the product and are all stored in a great carrying case. with a cool texture (and it's just the icing on my Tunisian cupcake at the moment).
