I bought this to teach my kids astronomy. Pros: The size of the telescope is medium to small. Easy to transport. The case is big enough to fit everything without trying to close it. TIP: keep the packing box, it's great for storage. Easy to set up. No actual assembly required. Just assemble (eyecup here, attach) these are roughly the parameters needed. This is very good for learning. The view of the moon is solid. Bad: only two negative points. The tiny scope mounted on top is cheap, and the inverted optics make it difficult to find a star or even the moon easily. There is no such thing as precise aiming, all rough aiming. Second, the phone holder is complete crap. Doesn't fit properly and falls off. Don't trust him with your cell arming. It is supposed to be screwed to the optics, but has no hold and slips off. Conclusion: The telescope itself is very good. You can feel the quality (except for the mini scope and the mobile phone holder). weight less than 5 pounds. Supplied with two optical parts and a triple attachment. Instructions are a solid 90% solution to your questions. Does not cover the mirror cover, function and use. All of these things are minor and easy to overcome.
