Review on ⏱️ Enhance Efficiency: Discover the Ultrak Count-Up/Down Timer by Jane Taylor

Alarm clock only 60 seconds, up/down cleaning function, oscillating and falling at the touch of a button

This is the best timer I've seen, but it has a few drawbacks. Simple functions. If you delete it with the delete key, enter the time and press start, the countdown will start. If you erase it with the delete key and press start, it will start counting down. (My previous timer required me to select up or down mode, so the ease of use of this timer is appreciated.) It doesn't have a clock mode (I don't need one), so I don't have to figure out how to switch from clock mode to timer mode . Each keystroke triggers a beep that provides pleasant feedback. It beeps loudly for 60 seconds when the time is up, then no reminders, although it starts counting after it hits zero. So if you don't hear the alarm within those 60 seconds, you'll know how much you've missed. A piece of tape can easily cover the hole above the buzzer on the back and reduce the volume. If this timer is in the same room as you, you will hear it. But the matter is doubtful. The vertical clip on the back is very narrow, so it wobbles slightly when you press the button on the left or right side, which often tears the fridge magnet off. I can fix that. I could add spacers to either side of the clip to stop the wobbling, or I could remove the clip and attach a magnet to the back. I'll take care of that later. Unfortunately, an alarm clock that needs a mechanical refurbishment and doesn't remind you of an alarm clock after 60 seconds is the best there is.

Pros
  • Large display; digits 3/4 inch; easy-press numeric keypad 0-9
Cons
  • Makes me angry
