Review on 👃 1.5mm Ball Nose Bone Straight Nose Ring- 20 Gaugauge, 1/4" Length, crafted in14k White Gold by Christina Johnson

When I reviewed this nose bone online before buying it, I liked that it was lighter and (IMO) fancier in color than some other metals. I also liked that the visible bead was 1.5mm as I was looking for something small. The pin is 6mm long and I have a problem with my nose bones being too long so this was a good length for me. I was happy to receive it and it seemed perfect until I tried to put it in. I had to look at the ruler before placing an order because the 1.5mm bullet is actually slightly larger than I thought it would be. This is my personal preference and entirely my fault, so I'm not lowering my rating on this item for this reason. However, the ball in the nose that keeps the nasal bone from coming out all the way without a little effort was much more than a strut. I have a feeling the smaller bead is a lot bigger than the picture on the Revain pic otherwise I wouldn't have a problem as the picture is similar to other nose rings I have. I've had my nose pierced for a few years so it's fully healed and I've never had a problem inserting or removing a nasal bone, but inserting this nasal bone stretched my piercing a bit. I had to work really hard to get it in and actually had to use petroleum jelly to lubricate the smaller ball to get it through. If the smaller ball wasn't so big I would definitely give it 5 stars, but it's so hard and painful to insert and remove. My piercing hurts for days so I don't want to wear it. I would return it if I could, but I can't as I opened the package.
