Fits perfectly on my 2008 Silverado 1500. Both door latches were replaced by the dealer I bought the truck from. After 3 years the driver's side would not close or open with the remote control and shortly after that the passenger door had occasional problems not opening to open the door. I replaced the driver and passenger latches a few weeks apart. Installation isn't for the faint of heart, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to walk you through the process. Only time will tell durability but at this price I believe I could replace it many times cheaper than the cost of an OEM fastener.
