Review on 🚗 Mishimoto MMHOSE-GTO-05RD Silicone Radiator Hose Kit for Pontiac GTO 2005-2006 - Red, Compatible & Effective by Jay Matlock

These hoses work very well and appear to be of good quality but there are a few things to look out for. The upper hose slides back when the suction cup is not clamped. This has happened on my car and I've seen it on others where it starts to slightly slip back into the power steering pump pulley and bump against it slightly. LESSON LEARNED. DO NOT use a standard spring clip on the upper radiator side hose. Get a good T-clamp. The lower case is great for a radiator BUT the thermostat side is definitely HERE ALSO. I had a friend who gave up and threw the bottom hose on his car. I'm more stubborn than him and I made it, but THE MAN WAS THIS MISSION. This hose is so strong that no clamp is needed to hold it. The hose and thermal outlet are now together forever. It's definitely not the right size for the motor, but it's doable with a lot of effort. Once you've got all that done, they look great and don't swell, so that's a plus.
