I've had the Bissell Crosswave for three years now. That's three years and three new Crosswaves. I don't know why they are rated so highly because you have to replace them annually after they stop working! I was looking for another way, found this one. A little more expensive, but worth every penny! I love this thing! I can just take it off the charger and reach for it. No hassle with cords, no wasted time cleaning each item as it is self-cleaning! What a great concept and it pulls a lot of dirt out of the brushroll and internals. I like that it's self-propelled because I have bad back and knees and it walks alone with me just to guide! It cleans way better than my old Crosswave without leaving streaks on hardwood floors. My floors will look horrible after washing with Crosswave. Only 1 capful of water solution is needed, saving you cleaning solution. I didn't think I really needed it to talk to me, but it's great because it reminds me to start a cleaning cycle, fill the water tank, empty the dirt tank, etc. This machine is great in every way . The only downside is that it has an internal battery. Once the two-year battery warranty is up and the battery dies, I think you'll need to replace it. Even with the action, it lasted twice as long as my old Crosswave! Or maybe the battery will last 5 years - who knows? Nobody has had it long enough to judge because it's a fairly new product in their line. Don't think twice and make your life easier! Buy now! Lol I don't get paid to write this
