Great stool: worth the extra money compared to cheaper options
I've had the shorter B&R model for years and love it. I've also bought a few cheaper fakes from various manufacturers in the meantime and regret trying to save a few bucks. The cheaper ones were more brittle and less stable, even if their stated weight limits were the same. B&R stools snap firmly in place (and make sure you snap them all the way in to be safe!). They feel stable when I stand on them. She. And they withstand bumps and drops without cracking, unlike some of their cheaper counterparts.
