Review on Wusthof Epicure Slicing Knife: Premium Quality, Versatile & Long-lasting by Eric Temple

I have had a chef's knife for a long time and this is my favorite knife. It goes through the toughest vegetables like butter. I was so excited to find such a great deal on this blockset that I decided to buy it. Pros: Natural wood block is heavy and durable. It has plenty of extra slots to fill in as you build your collection, but you start with the bare essentials at a better price. The knives are just great. The handles are smooth and comfortable to hold. Be careful because they are very sharp. Cons - a bit of sawdust falls on the knives but I expect it will get better with time. Nothing seems to be made out of actual solid wood panels these days, so this might be a pro! The kitchen scissors aren't the best but I didn't purchase the scissor set so I just consider them freebies! I LOVE this set :)
