Charging was fast and the coverage is excellent. However, the device failed to stay connected to Bluetooth when I was more than 8 feet away. Even with line of sight it loses contact with the probe if I move 10 feet away. In no way does it cope with 33 feet advertised over the wall for a lot less. The main downside is that the temperature readings are terribly wrong. I put a dial thermometer in the oven while it was being used on the chicken. The temperature in the oven was between 390 and 400 degrees, the gauge read 425-430 as the oven temperature. When the gauge said the chicken was done at 165 I pulled it out and used another meat thermometer and it was only at 158 and I had to go back to the oven. This means that not only does the sensor have connectivity issues, it also can't accurately read either time period, rendering it useless. unfortunately i liked the design and the charging case, but the function made me return it.
