Review on 🐠 Aqueon Gravel Cleaner Siphon Vacuum for Aquariums by Jessica Torma

This siphon works exactly as expected. This is a much better design than a primed bulb, which tends to get clogged with rock chips and debris causing them to lose suction and flow painfully slowly. This product is smaller than other siphons I've had in the past (mine was 5 inches), but for a 10-20 gallon aquarium that's fine. It's not so big that it's inconvenient to use or store. In fact, the smaller size made pipe casting a lot less messy. It cleaned my gravel and had just enough suction to remove the small bits of gravel along with the fish debris. I collect waste water from my aquarium for watering in the garden (great fertilizer!) and was happy that the water drained into my watering cans at a very reasonable price. I could have gone up a size for my 20 gallon but this came for under $3 so no complaints about the cost. The next size up was still a very reasonable price.
