Installation was easy, construction seems solid but leaks and is unusable. The device in the tank could not be properly sealed. First, I used the rubber grommets that came with it; leaked. Then it drags on again; leaked. Then I used the thicker spacers that came with the Berkey hub. leaked. The threads on the stem appear to be smaller than the factory fitting. If you enjoy waking up to 3.25 gallons of water spilling from your kitchen counter onto your floor more than once, you should buy this device. You will have a great time. If you prefer something that works as intended, look elsewhere.
