This backup camera system works very well. First, the camera itself looks good and doesn't feel or look cheap. It's extremely easy to set up and use. You have to charge it before using it for the first time, which took a long time for me. However, after charging it once, I didn't have to charge it again because of the solar panel. I really like that extra touch and it makes customization a lot easier. The included display works well and can be seen in most lighting situations. It just needs electricity to work. It can be powered by an external battery when you don't want to use your car. It also comes with various mounting options. Getting started was very easy - I literally turned everything on and it connected automatically. Although most cars aren't 50 feet long, I was able to move about 50 feet away from the monitor and the signal was still there. Keep in mind that this doesn't record anything - not a deal breaker in any way, just a note. All in all, this is a really good rear camera system for those who don't have one, and with everything being almost wireless, setup is quick and easy. I've been using it for about 4 weeks now and haven't had any problems.
