Revainrating 5 out of 5

Precise and straight cut

I was too lazy to readjust the dies every time I needed flat cuts for dovetail, half lap, tongue and groove, mortise and tenon joints. With this blade on my sawstop site (yes it's compatible) I can cut, cross and make all of the above connections without changing the blade, although I have to make multiple passes. I was concerned it might tear my 3/4 inch plywood, but as you can see from the photos it wasn't a problem. Although they only had 24 teeth, they were sharp, flat and perfect with no visible flaws. When I first used it I left some ridges between the passes (not close enough) as the passes didn't overlap just looking at it. Put a chisel on it. This was the main blade recommended by Stumpy Nubs on their website (others - Forrest T20779 - Woodworker II 10" x 5/8" 40T #1 Grind .125 Square Cut Blade, Amana Tool - 610240 Carbide Ripping Standard Tip 10" dia x 40T', 20 deg, 5/8 Bo, 10" blade TS2000 Flat Top Box Joint) and by far the cheapest. It replaced my Sawstop 80 tooth ATBR or combination blade which I will keep for ripping or cross cutting .4" or more hardwood. For a weekend carpenter, I think that's enough.
