This is the third Sharp convection microwave I have bought. The first was great for about 10 years; Then the convection part stopped working. I used it as a microwave for about 5 more years before I gave it away. The second was bought for a second home about 10 years ago and still works great. The third was bought two months ago when my 18 year old oven died and I was just thinking about what I need for it. The Sharp is great as a microwave oven, while the convection oven is great for making small meals, baking pies or individual loaves of bread, or keeping an already cooked meal warm before serving. I have roast beef and pork tenderloin and little chickens. An indispensable tool for me.
