I recommend this product

I now own several Wild Edge tools and they are all surprisingly well made for a brand I hadn't heard of until last month. My main interest was using it as a burnisher, but I tried the sanding option and it cuts into the material quite well. In this case I used it to round to the end of a 2 x 4 to test how easy it was to work with and I was very happy with that aspect of this tool. I see this tool as something you will be using primarily with coarse grits, like 36, 60 and 80 grit. As a left-hander, I appreciate the fact that the handle can be fitted on either side. The balance of the device in my hand is good. The speed control is very easy to use. As for polishing with this device, I just finished power polishing my BMW and found it to be a great cleaning and polishing tool. Although the machine has been cleaned and waxed regularly over the years, I have noticed that it is a bit greyish when using this polisher. One could easily say that the surface has become whiter and smoother. I closely followed the creation of the Polish guidelines for the execution of the work. Be careful to use only the weight of the device and not put pressure on it. Not all products on the market meet these requirements. I didn't feel any fatigue while doing the job and the engine didn't get hot at the speed I was using, which was roughly in the mid-range. Power polishing instructions say to start slowly to avoid overpolishing the polish. All in all, this is a product to consider when looking for a grinder/buffer.
