Review on JBL Splashproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker by Barb Cook

Edit: I originally gave a five star review but completely forgot about a HUGE mistake because I was initially impressed with it, the battery life. Leaving it constantly charging probably didn't help, but now it has to. If the speaker is disconnected from the charger for even 60 seconds, it will start to die and the bass will be horribly distorted. I wish I had bought a completely different speaker now. Other reviewers sum it up pretty well. This is a great little speaker. Works great outdoors and the battery life is great considering you probably won't be listening to music at full volume all the time. However, the price leaves a lot to be desired as the technology ages and depreciates, and there's already a 4th-gen version of this speaker available for just $20 more. Spending the extra cash may be worth it for those looking for plenty of extra features and upgrades, including overall sound quality. But for $20 less I can't complain about what I'm getting. I can't say there's a huge difference hearing them side by side, but it's noticeable.
