With some modifications it will be 5

After reading other reviews of JBL's performance and sound quality I settled on one of mine. Other reviewers agreed, the sound quality and speaker volume are excellent for a small device. The battery life is also good and lasts for a whole working day. The reason for deducting a star is that it's a round device that tends to roll on its own, making it difficult to keep on an incline. Another thing I'd like to see is that all the controls are on the same layer where currently the power button is

I like it. 6 months later not so much. Can't recommend the product.

Very handy little thing. Decent sound and volume for such a small device. It takes many hours to charge if not depleted. Answers phone calls while playing music and pauses playback, and auto-resumes the track after the call ends. Great as a hands-free device in the car. Update: Disappointed, found a gap in this armor. USB charging port The contacts on the device are bent and misaligned, preventing charging. .Looks like the same mini USB as on my phone and never had a problem with it in 2 years.

From very satisfied to disappointed.

I've had the speaker for a little over a year. At first I was very satisfied. Superb sound quality with tremendous bass depth for something so small. I only use the speaker twice a week and when I'm done I always leave it charged. Charging problems arose in no time. The next time you turn on the speaker, the charge is so low that it glows red even though it's off. I then had further problems trying to charge the speaker. I'd have to wiggle the cable in the charging port and cross my fingers…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

  • I have no particular dislikes for it, everything is fine.

definitely better than my Beats Pill 2

Bought when they were on sale. Wanted to give 4 stars but maybe that's too harsh. I've dropped them on the floor a few times, definitely better than my Beats Pill 2.0 and Beats Pill+. The sound is also much better than all the others. I've used it almost everywhere I've been. The sound quality was good enough to play piano music and jazz to transform a private room in a restaurant into a five-star restaurant, receiving praise from my dinner guests. I don't mind that it's not waterproof, but be…

Great at first, dude really bad

I loved the JBL Flip 3 when I first bought it. I put it in a bottle holder on my bike for leisurely rides and also packed it in my luggage when traveling. It sounded great and lasted around 8 hours on a single charge. After about a year of occasional use, the battery life started to decrease. Around the same time I started hearing distortion at high volumes. A little annoying, but not the end of the world. After about a year and a half it was almost unusable. At high volume, I hear annoying…

That's Not My Boss

Edit: I originally gave a five star review but completely forgot about a HUGE mistake because I was initially impressed with it, the battery life. Leaving it constantly charging probably didn't help, but now it has to. If the speaker is disconnected from the charger for even 60 seconds, it will start to die and the bass will be horribly distorted. I wish I had bought a completely different speaker now. Other reviewers sum it up pretty well. This is a great little speaker. Works great outdoors…

Flip 3 vs. Anker SoundCore Sport XL - JBL just ahead

I went to Revain to buy the JBL Flip 3 based on the consistently positive reviews and wanted a speaker I could use outside without to worry about it. much about sudden downpours, dust and other natural disasters. However, when I searched, I came across Anker's latest entry, the SoundCore Sport XL. Considering the price, my overall satisfaction with Anker, and Revain's solid return policy, I decided to try both speakers. I would note that the SoundCore Sport XL is probably more comparable to the
