We have a rescued cat with kittens who was abandoned because she didn't like using the litter box BECAUSE she didn't. There were no kittens! They will smell where they were before and will just use that spot next to a clean litter box! For training I have Dr. Ainsley's filler and used this attractant. and used a "Keep/no, no" spray on the areas they used. AND NOW EVERYONE USE THE Trashbox! I CAN'T BE HAPPY! WORKS BEAUTIFULLY!
