I use this set for my home bar and wanted to briefly describe each part of the set: 1. Shaker - my first experience with a Boston shaker. Works well, good weight for glasses but I've already ruined the finish on the smaller glass and only used it a couple of times. That fine finish is on every detail, and in short, the lesson is learned.2. Sieve Hawthorne is normal. It works, but I wouldn't recommend buying a Hawthorne screen that doesn't have a lip in the middle to control a closed fill, for example.3. A julep strainer is fine. There is a single weld from the handle to the bowl and you will remove dried juices/syrups from this area if not rinsed immediately after use.4. Small sieve - yes. I sifted the pulp and seeds through a sieve that was too wide for too long! Also, the screen is thinner than any screen I've had at home before. An important tool.4. Muddler is a good weight, but I haven't used it enough to know how durable it is.5. Jigger - this looks beautiful and I appreciate the 1 1/2, 3/4 and 1/2 oz measuring rulers. Fest.6. The bar spoon is also solid. My first real bar spoon since using cutlery or a bar spoon without a bottle. It's as good quality as most bar spoons you can buy separately.7. Ice tongs - lol. Use a scoop for anything where you store ice. They're too small for "perfect" ice trays, let alone giant silicone ice molds. Speed Pourers - If you're making enough drinks that you need a speed pourer, you'll spoil the finish pretty quickly in this set. If you keep them on bottles when you're not making drinks, you'll quickly see why you shouldn't. In short, I've learned that ideally I should steer clear of plating or finishing instruments that require impregnation. metal-to-metal seal. I certainly don't have to pay more for that. For those who make an occasional cocktail for their SO, the finish can linger over time. Form and function is pretty good with this set so I'm happy with it.
