First time I've used a Boston shaker, this particular set so I have nothing to compare to what has been said. The whole kit seems well made, every part works very well (and I've ridden the whole thing for several miles), no leaks and no complaints.

I received this as a gift for my boyfriend and it arrived for Christmas and he was so happy to use it when we noticed the cups were sticking together. Almost a week went by and he tried everything to tell them apart. The packaging wasn't very good, with plastic and tissue paper getting stuck between the cups.

What a pity! I received this shaker in June and was very excited as it matched my bar. I've only used it a few times and hand washed every time! The finish of the shaker is coming off at the edge and I'm very disappointed. I have taken such good care of this set. I bought this set because of all the great reviews and will say I love all the extra items that came with it, but I'm giving 2 stars based on the fact that I wanted to show it off but can't damaged.

I've been looking for a cocktail shaker for a long time and wasn't sure there were so many options. I wanted a heavy shaker to be durable. This shaker lives up to its name. Here is a list of pros and cons. Pros: 1) The Boston Shaker is very durable and the finish is fantastic. 2) The whole set is very suitable for all cocktail needs. Cons: 1) The black finish looks great, I can't predict how it will age. Conclusion: A very high quality shaker at a reasonable price.

I ordered 2 sets and both arrived damaged, something is wrong with this batch, something must have gone wrong in the manufacturing process and the plating is spotty and there is some contamination in it which is damaging the plating. And the second one I ordered to replace the first has the same problem but also two scratches on the smaller cup. I'm a serious bartender. (Mixologist) These are great for beginners or when you need something on the fly. My double sieve broke after 3 days. Shaker molds are not suitable. Especially if you shake two glasses at the same time (one set in each hand) they will fall apart badly. So I connected the bottom with another glass and the top with another glass. This set is amazing. My wife bought it for me for Christmas and we have used it several times. I will say that the box it came in was damaged but luckily the product was not damaged. The shakers are well weighted and seal very well. Even with a large gasket, they are easy to disassemble.
