I like Shinegard, but. I knew the clips were plastic when I bought the product and I knew they were going to break, I just knew and they made my mistake. I overtightened the Y bracket off-road. The Y bracket should look like a RAM MOUNT. I think the Y bracket should be stronger, like alloy, steel or whatever but not plastic. I replaced the broken original Y-bracket and handlebar clamp with an aluminum and steel RAM bracket. I had a spare so it worked fine but I think for the money it costs they should be metal.
