10/10 Would I buy again and am picky

Certified mig/tig and stick welder. My honest opinion, from the start I doubted how light the whole car was. Installation instructions for hoses, adapters, torches etc. were not required as everything was carried out clean and dry. So here are my unbiased opinion(s); Cons: I didn't really bother with the 30 amp plug at the end of the whip. I removed that and added a 3 pin 50 amp connector. (Lincoln Plug) No big deal, just didn't fit in my outlets. Second, I didn't like the rear 1/4" mill adapter for connecting compressed air and argon. I removed that and added a male NPT 1-4 adapter and also installed two ball valves on the tee for a faster transfer of air to argon. Then I installed quick release air chucks that come out of the ball bars. An air chuck was attached to the supplied argon hose (which I cut and use my 500psi flame retardant air hose primarily for plasma cutting.) No big deals really, just fitted mine booming commercial workplace in the shop. Not to be negative about these things but that wasn't my preference so there's no loss here. Third, the argon sensor worked great, but it's a bit softer and cheaper. I get this because of the surprisingly low price of this machine so no big deal I used my gauge and regulator here too there is nothing wrong with the product, it's just not my preference. Finally, I don't like how you have to pipe argon gas through the machine and use the setup that comes with it. I have my own drill rig where I attach a stinger and pipe argon straight from the bottle into the torch. No big deal, after a bit of brainstorming I figured out how to use my rig. It's okay, the factory TIG set worked great, I just like my stuff more. So no cons, really just an opinion type preference. Pros: First (I only use 220 on all my machines. I don't use 110 adapter unless I really need it - not included). I ran an arc welder and burned 3-7018 3/32 rods. They went smooth and good beads. The car was pulled over and sounded more like a Vespa scooter than a Harley. But it burned well. I then did the TIG setup and considering I used all the factory components first, the knob on the torch is a bit different but the HF start worked 100%. Very good. It was a bit more difficult with an ammeter. Either too hot or not enough, you need to play more. Otherwise, TIG worked perfectly, as did arc welding. Next came the plasma cutter reeds and I laid out a 3/16 inch piece of diamond plate 4 feet long and 2 feet wide. I cut through the 2 foot side in about 25 seconds. A bit of dross on the bottom and had to hit a few spots twice but if you move slowly like you should it leaves a clean surface and cuts through like warm butter. I cut through the 4 foot side in about 45-55 seconds. Never move a tip or shards. You need a lot of good air pressure, but the device and components work perfectly. In general, the machine is 100% satisfied. Not a single issue or glitch to contend with and for that I give it 5 stars. I would buy again and recommend. Hope this helps and good luck
