Above all, it stopped the slow dripping in the shower. However, this was not an exact replacement for the Glacier Bay cartridge. It has a much wider range of knob movement (which could theoretically result in more precise temperature control). The temperature limiter (which I removed anyway as only adults use the shower) is different from what is shown in the photos (and the original part) and doesn't seem to fit properly in the hood. I definitely wouldn't be able to adjust the temp stop without completely disassembling the faucet. I fiddled around a bit with the installation, I'm not a plumber but I think those who really know their stuff won't have any problems. , Experiences.
