Review on 🌡️ AC3Z-5J213-B: High-Precision Exhaust Temperature Sensor for 6.7L Engines by Jacob Rasmussen

I keep one of these in the glove box along with a 1mm -Invader oil. There are 4 of them along the exhaust line. Bank 1 Sensor 1 is closest to the engine, followed by sensor 2 which is to the right of the U-joint, 3 and 4 towards the rear axle. The fourth sensor is next to the flange and is the easiest to find and access. Apply some penetrating oil to the threads of the old one and let it sit for about an hour, you don't want to round it or break it trying to pull it out! There is a plastic plug that needs to be unplugged with a fingernail. If you just look at the new one you should be able to figure out how to remove the old one, but you'll have to do it "by feel" as they're all on top of the exhaust and you can't see them. Either way, they take 5 minutes to swap out and they only cost about forty dollars each, so it's not a big deal. I have had to replace 2 of these in the last 3 years.
