So far, it’s worked really well. We love that it preheats quickly (just a few minutes) and that it came with specific instructions for common items, as well as a recipe book for us to try some new things we might not have thought of putting in the air fryer.Everything we’ve made (frozen breaded fish filets, frozen french fries, bacon and broccoli) have been great! We loved how perfectly the bacon cooked and how quick it went and how it wasn’t covered in grease! Unfortunately, we had to do a bunch of small batches to cook an entire lb of bacon (enough for our family of 5) but it was so delicious we weren’t too annoyed by the multiple batches. The fish also turned out great, similar to in the oven, but again less greasy and perfectly crispy on both sides. The french fries turned out pretty good, but I didn’t realize I could put more than a layer across the bottom so in the future I will try filling the basket with more fries so that we don’t have to do so many batches. The broccoli also turned out great. I LOVE the crispy edges of roasted broccoli, but my husband really dislikes all the oil so it was a good cross between our two preferences.Overall, it’s been great. It seems like the 5qt size might be better suited for 1-3 people, rather than a family of 4/5, but if it’s only used to cook ’side dishes’ the capacity is ok.The touch screen is nice and I have figured out most of the buttons, but wouldn’t say it’s as intuitive as it could be. (I have on multiple occasions set the temp/time and then forgotten to hit the power button again to start it and because it’s so quiet didn’t even realize it wasn’t on/heating.User error, but it’s just an extra step that probably isn’t necessary.)The only real ‘con’ I’ve experienced so far is that the ‘beeps' are pretty loud and there’s no volume adjustment. Otherwise, super easy to use, super easy to clean, heats up and cools down quickly. So far, we’re happy with it!
