Summary: Replacement covers are pretty good for the price. Don't rely on tethers, however. I use them on two different lenses. I bought a couple of used lenses that didn't have caps so I needed something cheap to protect the glass. These lens caps seemed to fit the bill and had extra elastic retention cords. In general, lens caps are good. They hold up well and look very nice. I had no problems with the lens caps themselves. However, I had problems with the elastic fastening cords. There is a piece of plastic that connects the elastic to the cord. This piece of plastic just lets go after a while and slides freely. When this happens, nothing else is saved. Two of the four elastic retaining cords had this issue. Check out the pictures to better understand what I'm talking about. Overall I like these lens caps. While not the best tethers, I'd recommend them to anyone just looking for interchangeable lens caps. It also comes with a free microfiber cloth, which is nice. Also, make sure they match your lenses.
