I'm a carpenter in the union and we hang doors all the time and need to make sure they're plumb. When the Tajima bob hit the market, they were all the rage. Moonwell took this design and made it better and cheaper (about $10 cheaper) in my opinion. Mine is in my toolbox with every job. Other carpenters have borrowed it and were also enthusiastic. The bob is incredibly heavy, which makes it very stable for quick measurements, so we can hang the drywall, attach the door, and get on with it. Also, the cord is very long, making it useful for any job.
