It barely fits our 4 year old. And the seat is a joke, our one year old [a tiny baby by CDC standards] can put his feet on the floor while sitting in the seat! So a 6 or 8 year old definitely can't ride it comfortably. Looks and feels much more plastic. Should have invested in a Micro Kickboard - Maxi Delux or Maxi Original although it costs almost double the price I think it's still worth it.
