Can't tell how it will hold up in the long run (mine was bought on a Friday delivered), but it has survived both dust raking and stain raking to over 720 square feet. My only complaint with this broom is that the links twist together and if you rake vigorously the bars come loose a couple of times during the work. The fit on the broom head seems to be universal so I might buy a heavier handle for it. The head picks up the fur upright after 4 passes with my Dyson so I'd say it definitely does the job. Cannot speak of regular use on tile, but the scraper on the "back" does not create enough level. Printing tiles for my kitchen. The pass comes out very wet and uneven due to the water spill. I'll stick to my mop in the kitchen.
