Probably not the best tape for wires
The tape is not as sticky as most tape and not as stretchy as some tape (meaning it is difficult to straighten). It's fine for cable marking, but I'm not sure I'll trust it in the long run. I mainly use it on my bike to protect the handlebars from pinching and to wrap the brake/shift cables. I bought it to use on the end of the bar tape but it's not sticky enough for that.
