I can't even explain how excited I was about this lamp. This was to be my final touch at the end of a long adventure of renovating my bedroom. Unfortunately, the quality of the lamp is below average. flickering light. constantly on and off. I tried a few things, changed the environment or anything that might affect this. but it flashes on and off no matter what. As a person who gets migraines easily, this is NOT pleasant to watch! but it gets worse 😬 a piercing hum can be heard from where the lamp cord is plugged into the back. It's quiet enough not to be overheard by the sound of a phone, but loud enough that you'll throw pillows at a lamp in desperate desperation in the middle of the night to fall asleep. oh yes, the hum of living electricity continues even when the lights are off. Flickering and buzzing are lamp's most indestructible habits, and both contribute to migraines, so this is a big NO for me. The lamp isn't even bright enough to light up a small room, but there's clearly something wrong with the wiring. These are big problems in a product that is already of poor quality. not worth $25, not worth $10. I never wanted to be Karen and ask for a refund until this point, but yes. I will ask for a refund.
