Review on NuTone 0696B000 Motor Assembly Nutone by Jesse Azuse

Installed a fan in a Nutone light/fan combo over the weekend. The original Nutone lasted 12 years, the replacement (also Nutone) only 5 years. Hopefully this Endurance Pro model is better. The newly replaced motor had the bearing worn or the mounting on the shaft was loose, I don't know what, but the motor was shaking and humming very, very loudly. This Endurance Pro fitted the space perfectly, it took about 40 minutes to remove the unit from the ceiling, swap out the motor (about 5 minutes, only 3 screws) and reinstall in the ceiling space. Very simple, no special skills are required, a Phillips screwdriver will do. Much quieter, about the same noise level as an oven fan at high speeds.
