Yes that is a problem
I am very sensitive about clothes and I know how to take care of my cars. When I first got them I put them in the washing machine for a gentle hand wash and then tumble dried on the lightest setting for delicate fabrics. They're comfortable, but my lint catcher had more than I've ever seen.
