Review on 🐠 Enhance Your Aquarium with Kent Marine Reef Activated Carbon: A Must-Have for Vibrant Aquariums! by Jessica Morris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I just ordered a larger quantity. Worth the cost.

The charcoal I use does two things. First, it's reasonable durability as most decent carbon is a bit pricey. Second, I don't want to spend half an hour cleaning up dust, which I've encountered more than once, even on "premium" coal. First, the Kent Marine Carbon met my expectations. I generally try to use less charcoal and change it more often. I've had no problem keeping my tank clean with what I consider to be the minimal amount of this charcoal in my Eheim Ultra g160 dual filters in my 130g tank. Second, this carbon far exceeded my expectations. Usually a couple of dips in two separate layers of clean water into the bucket and it's scraped off. I just place the charcoal in my media bag, dip it several times in a bucket of a few gallons of water, dump, fill and dip again. That's all it takes to get rid of the dust. I am so happy with this charcoal that I have just ordered a 2 gallon bucket which will last me the rest of the year. This charcoal is worth the money if you value time and clean aquarium water.
