Pleasantly surprised at how well this works. As small as it is, I was concerned that it might be too short, but it isn't. Very quick and easy to install, even for us women. Our son's bike has still fallen over a few times due to a gust of wind or in a hurry so the bike itself wasn't quite as tilted as it should have been, but it's a lot better than no stand at all. It's very easy to raise and lower it with one foot, even for our 5 year old. I will say it's not as solid as using a center mount stand, but it's ideal until ready to increase the size of the bike. His bike has 16-inch wheels, was built for riders 41-48 inches (3.4ft-4ft) tall, it came with training wheels, but of course they were removed. It has extra plastic around the frame which makes it look like a dirt bike, so a stand that connects in the middle wasn't an option. (These are Tier 2 kids bike sizes if you are unsure of wheel size etc.)
