I generally dislike non-OEM products for these items as they sometimes have a short lifespan or can cause blockage issues, though they fit. However, instead of paying up to $69 for the LG OEM LT 500 P, I read reviews from people who bought this filter. Also, it handles fewer gallons than OEM and may not have an additional microfilter like OEM. I was able to purchase a double pack from this supplier for $37.50 and free shipping. Less than $19 each. If both filters lasted as long as the OEM, I'd still save $30. I dared and bought these filters. They fit perfectly in my fridge and don't leak. After pumping the filter for 15 minutes, the water came out crystal clear. Works great since I bought it in June. I have a 5 year old in-line filter on my main water supply that I've bought twice from Home Depot and made over the past 5 years to capture smaller germs than any other filter and it's $30. This filter was originally for our drinking water and I used a second one a few days ago after installing a non-OEM fridge filter. The water and ice from the WSL-1 was clean, odorless and taste-free for a month before I added another in-line filter as a backup. I couldn't tell this WaterSentinel filter apart from the more expensive professional filter. I will be reviewing the fridge filter in 6 months and replacing it with the second one that came in the kit just to cut it open and see what it caught in the first 6 months and comment again here. I ended up writing over 300 words to say it's a good deal anyway. Do not use any other providers, as shipping sometimes takes forever and there is no guarantee. I received the WaterSentinel 7 days after ordering and they were brand new. Hope that helps.
