Review on Cridoz 35 Pcs Leather Stitching Pouch Kit: Prong Sewing 🧡 Hole Punch, Tools, Thread & Needles for Beginners' Leather Crafting Projects by Nicole Green

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The price didn't bite

This was my first attempt at hand stitching leather. I went all out for some projects at the store and bought 8oz tool leather, which was a bit ambitious given the thickness. This set actually worked quite well. The selection of needles was more than I expected. Most of them have a blunt end so I had to sharpen them with a stone/sandpaper to pierce the thread and attach it to the needle. In fact, I used punches, needles, thread, an awl, and a thimble. For such a low price someone just tinkers around, can actually do projects. Really much. Based on other reviews, I was concerned about the durability of the shocks, and even through 8 ounces of leather (0.127-0.142 inches thick) they worked. I tried hitting with a hammer only vertically and on a pine board. They're sharp, but I have a hell of a time getting them out of my skin after each use. I suspect due to the thickness of the skin. If you were on the fence, jump. This set is worth it.
