The device I received never charged, never turned on and was a $15 piece of plastic in every way. I received the speaker in undamaged packaging, read the instructions and started charging it as advertised for about 4 hours. I read the reviews before purchasing so I knew the red light should be on while charging. The light never came on to indicate it was charging, but I wiped it off and hoped for the best. After a few hours of charging I took it off the charger and tried to turn it on but to no avail. As I read guides and reviews I tried holding the power button for different times (3, 4, 10 seconds). Nothing. As far as I know, the device has never had a battery. Returned the next day. Maybe my experience is unique. Most of the reviews for this product are good. But that was my experience with this product from this seller.
