This tunnel is perfect for my guinea pigs. They love the rustle when they walk over it and like to stick their heads out of the hole to see what's going on. Keep in mind that they will send a random color for this. I wasn't careful enough when ordering and thought I would get the blue but I got the tan but it was my fault for not reading it. I don't usually leave it in the cage all the time, mostly because my boys will then pee in it and make a big mess, so I take it out to play and it works better. I would recommend not washing this with other guinea pig linens as I have noticed that the canvas color bleeds a bit with the rinse initially. It's well made though and should last a while.
